The Call for Project Proposals BG16RFPR001-1.011 “Implementation of Innovations in SMEs within the Territory of Local Action Groups (LAGs)” is now open for application. The first deadline for submission of project proposals by applicants from the territory of “LAG Rakitovo – Pazardzhik” is 14.09.2026, until 16:30 h.
Only applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible under this procedure:
1) Must be traders within the meaning of the Commerce Act or the Cooperatives Act.
Branches of legal entities registered in Bulgaria cannot participate in the procedure due to the lack of independent legal personality.
2) Must be registered no later than 31.12.2023.
3) Must be micro-, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the meaning of Art. 3 and Art. 4 of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Act and Commission Recommendation of 6 May 2003 (OJ L 124, 20.5.2003, p. 36).
IMPORTANT! Under this procedure, micro-enterprises are eligible for support only within the settlements on the territory of Pazardzhik Municipality (the villages of: Aleko Konstantinovo, Apriltsi, Bratanitsa, Velichkowo, Gelemenovo, Glavinitsa, Govedare, Debrashtitsa, Dobrovnitsa, Dragor, Zvanichevo, Ivaylo, Kralimarco, Lyahovo, Malo Konare, Miryantsi, Mokrishte, Ovchepoltsi, Ognyanovo, Patalenitsa, Pishtigovo, Rosen, Saraya, Sbor, Sinitovo, Topoli Dol, Hadzhievo, Tsar Asen, Tsrancha, Chernogorovo, Yunatsite), subject to cumulative compliance with all other requirements.
4) Must have realized average annual net sales revenues for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 financial years, depending on the category of the applicant enterprise, as follows:

The average annual net sales revenues of the applicant for the three-year period 2023, 2024, and 2025 shall be calculated as follows: Income Statement (Profit and Loss Account – P&L) for 2023, 2024, and 2025 of the applicant enterprise – the sum of the values from the row “Net sales revenues” (row code 15100, column 1) from the revenue section of the Income Statement for the three years, divided by 3 (three).
When determining the average annual net sales revenues for the period 2023, 2024, and 2025, only data from the individual Income Statements of the applicant for the specified years shall be taken into account, excluding data from its linked and/or partner enterprises (if any) used to determine the category of the applicant enterprise.
5) Must carry out their activities within the territory of the LAG and must have requested support for activities that will be implemented within this territory.
For the purposes of this criterion, applicant enterprises must cumulatively meet the following requirements:
- 5.1. have their registered office (headquarters) within the territory of the LAG,
- 5.2. have operated within this territory for the period 2023, 2024, and 2025, and
- 5.3. have requested support for activities that will be implemented within this territory.
